Head of Strategy and Architecture

Successfully established IT Strategy and Architecture Function (team size: approximately 20) for ING Australia (against a prior history of several failed attempts to create an organisation wide architecture team).

Key functions include technology strategy and innovation facilitation, enterprise architecture, solution architecture and solution design/estimation.

Defined the technology strategy and architecture governance model for ING Australia, as part of an overall technology operating model, including the establishment of the Technology Working Group (overall technology governance body), Technical Review Board (strategy and architecture review forum).

Delivered technology roadmaps for key ING business units including Life Risk, Group Risk, Direct Insurances and provided input in the development of medium term plans for Wealth Management and Corporate Finance business units.
